Web Development
I've been developing web sites and web applications for about 10 years now. In fact, the browser buzz of the day was around the just released Netscape 1.1 and it's implementation of tables. Things have come a long ways since then :)
I've done sites from basic profiling to large, multi-user, content management systems, and most everything in between. I really enjoy this sort of work and have invested a lot of time gaining an in-depth knowledge of html/xhtml and css, as well as a number of scripting/programming languages such as php, cf, js, and perl. Add my background in art, design and graphic production, and I bring a pretty well-rounded tool kit to any development project.
I'm a strong believer in developing to W3C standards. Clean design, accurate and well-crafted mark-up, logical separation of content from structure from style, are all hall marks of a well built web site. This is especially important in today's climate of dynamic, data-driven sites and web 2.0 technologies.
